Juanes, the person I admire

In 2008, I was working in Bogota in a project of the fundation where I am a volunteer.  And a little girl (terminally ill patient) wanted to know a very special colombian artist “Juanes”, this was her dream and fortunately the mine too.


We thinked that it was so difficult, but in a couple of days we contacted his manager, Fernan Martinez and coordinated the meeting. After a few weeks, the expected time started in a little room near to an auditorium. Juanes came into the room and began to talk with the girl. He was the same that you saw on the television and he listened every word that she spoke to him. I was so excited too, because I liked so much his music since he started his carreer in Ekhymosis and I believed that Juanes is a special person, who inspired you reliance.


Currently, Juanes was famous not only for his music but because his foundation “Mi Sangre” who support handicap people, and also he has helped to different countries, including Colombia, who search the peace through his performance with other famous artists in different concerts in strategic places where exist a conflict (Example: Cuba).


I feel that Juanes will be one of the most important musician in the world who will inspire to everybody to make a different place to live... in peace.
