A tolerancy example

Dear editor:

This person wasn't a great athlete. He wasn't the most intelligent person in the world. But, he had the most important feelings about his people and his country. That guy is Nelson Mandela. Probably he is one of the most important human beings in the 20th century.
Even tought he was imprisoned because he opposed to racism in his country: South Africa, he never took revenge.
As a black guy he was tortured in jail to defend his ideas about equality between black people and white people.
He was 27 years in prison and suffer many injustices. However, when he was free he never took revenge on white people. Instead, he wanted to unite all his country.
He run for president and was the first person elected democratically in Sudafrica.

All the people, white and black, feel a big respect about him and understand the value of his way.

He is called Madiba and he is a world wide symbol of the equality between humans
