The Color Run Arrived to Medellín
It is the only run in the world
that celebrates healthiness, happiness, the personality and the help to the
community.
The color run was a race of 5 kilometers without time,
where thousands of people were painted with powder of different colors and at
the end there was a big color party, with music and the most important: the
energy of the color runners.
The happiest 5K on the Planet was the 1st
of September. From the Poblado Avenue to Four South Bridge 10.000 athletes ran
the greatest race with their families, children, friends, parents and grandparents,
wearing hats, customs, sunglasses and tattoos.
The organization of the event was prefect, the people
accomplished these rules: start with a white t-shirt, finish the race full of
color, no pets, no red color, no alcohol and no drugs.
The people shouted through streets: “More color more
happiness” jumping to the beat of the music, the people were so exiting.
The main sponsor was Gef, they gave some souvenirs:
headbands, purses, t-shirts and sunglasses. Coca-cola also participated with
their brand “Crush” giving it to the runners to keep them hydrated.
Everyone expressed their satisfaction on the social
networks with pictures, great comments, reviews and videos. It was broadcasted
live on TeleMedellín, who did interviews with organizer and participants, also they
had an helicopter recording the race where the viewers could watch the
multitudes.
Famous people at The Color
Run
Several actors didn’t miss this massive event and
their traveled from Bogotá, Miami and New York. That was the case of Iván
Martínez, the gallant of the moment, He arrived to Medellín at 6:00 a.m. with
his girlfriend - bad news for his fans – and they looked very much in love, probably
their will married next year.
Also Sol Giraldo, the actress who won the Oscar for
“Best Actress” in 2013 with “Silver Linings Playbook”, She traveled from New
York and enjoyed so much with her friends. She looked amazing with her long
blond hair and her fabulous body, she is a good athletic, every day she run around
Central park with her dog, because for the moment she is single and she looking
for boyfriend.
