FIREPROOF
It is a Christian film directed by Alex Kendrick and Starring Kirk Cameron (Caleb) and Erin Bethea (Catherine) who are a married couple with serious problems in their marriage and want to finish it. He is a firefighter and she works as a communicator at the local hospital. They argue constantly and lost confidence in the other; after seven years of marriage, Caleb and Catherine just want to get the divorce.
Before ending their relationship, Caleb's father, John, challenges him to commit to a 40-day "Love Dare", Caleb must fall in love his wife in 40 days. Every day he must change his behaviour, take care of her, give her flowers and overcome his male chauvinism. Sometimes she ignores Caleb's presents, so he decided to ask to his father for an advice. Father's Calebs explain him that this situation is like our reltionship with God, because He loves us but we ignore him, so the advice was continue doing the same thing and giving the best from him.
When Caleb thanks his dad for the Love Dare, he is surprised to learn it was his mother who first did the Love Dare on John, not the other way around.
Finally Caleb and Catherine fix their marriage, and based their relationship in Jesus Love.
I recommend watching this movie because it shows how God can change lives to connect in amazing marital relationships.
